Membership in ITMA is open to any person or company involved or interested in the international transportation community. ITMA members consist of transportation, shipping and logistics professionals from every strata of the industry.

An important networking and fundraising event for ITMA members is the association's annual golf outing.  The Mack Johnson Memorial Golf Classic in April is well attended and well known by the industry.  The Fall Classic is new in 2007 and will be repeated in 2008.
